Went to Ross today and got a few rugs. I opened my eyes the other day and realized my apartment looks like either a pack of college kids live here or squatters (depending on if I've cleaned that day). Money is tight so my plan is to get a few items when I can afford it. After a while it should look like an adult uhhh grown-up...I live here.

That's how my last apt was... this one has no furnitures. Just cat area with her condo and ottoman she sleeps on, my bed, tv on top of old desk, and card-table-as-desk with computer on it. The cat has more furniture than I do. I did not take my nasty old chair to this new one, as I am going to save money and buy a little couch or something, as well as a rug, and maybe a real desk for my computer. I'm also going to paint what furniture I have so it all matches.

Just finished my final paper of my high school career.

Holy crap, that is a good reason to celebrate!! congrats!


I'm going to heat up some stew I made yesterday, have a biscuit and I'm baking up some ready made sweet potato fries in the oven. They have some sort of cajun spice on them. Smells good!
