Thought I'd test the waters and say hello.
I owe my love of writing to my 10th grade English teacher. She had us write a journal one year, and well, living on the farm, it got a little repetitive. 'Milked the cows, fed the cows, fed the chickens, hauled hay'... yeah, you get the picture.
So, I was always day dreaming, you have to do something other than watching the wheat grow. I asked her if I could write stories, of course, she said yes and that was the beginning of my writing.
I haven't been published. I wasn't confident enough to even try until recently.
So, there you have it.
