I can't read music (tried to learn but it just doesn't sink in) but I can play a bit by ear. I just love that thing. It's an old upright from the 1870's and I lurve it.

Good morning, innocent invisable kee-kat.

So it was our Susie!!

I should have known that behind that guileless smile lay the heart of a clever prankster.

Good one, Susie!! You rock! :D

No, it's not Tuna Day, but she got some tuna anyway. She's now gone to take a nap (in my rocking chair). Good, just as long as she's not underfoot.

By the way, if anyone didn't get their avatar back, let someone know. All of them were suppose to have been saved and restored.

I was doing my Inspector Morse imitation. First I had to have a few beers, then listen to some opera, then have a beer or two, then go off in the wrong direction, then go to the pub, then arrest the wrong person, and then, finally, have a beer as a reward for all my hard work.

I just got my piano back!

I had a piano in my room when I was a teen (nowhere else in the house to put it) and when I moved out, my mom gave it to my brother and my sister-in-law (and it gave me a sad). They've decided they've had enough of it so they're giving it back to me! I've missed that thing for 22 years now!

and just another !super!extra!exclamation! because I feel like it! Late night texting is awesome.

Awesome, KLM! I just got a new (used) piano for Christmas because my old one had stuck keys. It's so nice to be able to play again! :)

You know, it's never too late to learn..

Real Ale.

You forgot to fall in love with someone intimately involved in the case in a way that leads to revealing the dead end qualities of your life.

Also harass Lewis so he'll learn enough to later harass Hathaway.

And Endeavour to not say what your first name is.

Morse certainly was the romantic.

Good thing Morse wasn't involved in the Manson case. He would have been hitting on Susan Atkins. "She couldn't have done it, Lewis! She has better penmanship."

Hello everyone, it is going to be a morbid week anywhere with a predominantly Chinese population (not sure about Vancouver and San Francisco, though). April 5 is Qing Ming (pronounced Ching Ming), when the Chinese honour their ancestors at grave sites. With entire families working long hours these days, people tend to observe Qing Ming starting from the weekend immediately before and after. People are already burning paper replicas of things they believe their ancestors need in the afterlife, like television sets (flatscreen), computers (ipads), cars (Mercedes or BMW of course). It's a ritual that goes back more than 2,000 years so it's actually quite nice to see young, modern families still observing this tradition in the 21st century.

Good morning house of pianos!! I would love to have one. My Mom had one but when we were dealing with her estate, we had to sell it, none of us had any room for it.

My 50th birthday resolution. We have an upright piano bought for one of my twins when she was five. It gets tuned every six months even though it hasn't been played since she left for university 18 months ago.

It's only good if it's played so i shall learn. The neighbours will curse me but I shall ignore them. Thanks swachski.
