THIS.

Reminds me of me and my boss. No, I'm not the pathetic yellow one. :)

Anyone doing Nano? How's it going?
-Rockweaver, I've just added you as a buddy :)

Oh, and I brought some food. I'll tell you what it is after you sample it, folks.

*Puts a large saucepan will dark green liquid and even darker UFOs on the table*

I've often wondered myself.
You're a godsend, auntypsychotic! Here is a word for you tittynope.

Bartender, get her a drink of her liking.

Thanks, I'll take a double Black Bush neat.

Now that I've got the wonder booze, the real godsend is my roomie. She found and sent it to me. We've been known to stay up early into the morning talking about words. How they taste, which ones are the most fun to say, whether they're self-descriptive or not etc. For example, we've decided that "smarmy" needs no definition because it sounds exactly like what it means.

That sounds like fun! Have you ever noticed if you say a word too many times it suddenly doesn't make sense any more? *hope it's not just me*

Uhm. . . I'll pass on the UFO's, thanks.

I'm doing NaNo and had a good weekend - wanted at least 4K and made it!

*Tries and fails to not get offended*

Ok, I'll let you off... on condition you put them into your novel! Go for it!

Hmmm. . . .how would I work unidentified floating objects into a flat, dry range? Eh. Who cares. It's NaNo and all that matters is the word count, right? It doesn't have to make sense yet.

Someone asked me so i will tell you all :)

my rules for NaNo
my rules for this write were made super simple
1. Do Not Edit. (omg i found out how to turn this off)
2. if you get stuck do not stop just skip to the next event. you can connect them later.
3. keep a list of people and places so you keep the story straight.
4. challenge your self and set a goal that can be obtained if you work for it.
5. surround yourself with people who will root for you to win.
6. turn edit functions off and seriously keep the damn thing off.....
7. Write and let the story flow words words are like a river they start slow and then as more words arrive they pick up speed as more of them gather soon you have gone from a trickle at the ice cap to a large river that flows and provides life to many.
8. give your self permission to have fun

at the end of day 3 wc = 6099
todays target 10000 chat later maybe if i stop writing

9. EAT!!! It's a little-known fact that writer fuel does not contain calories. So that whole bar of chocolate that disappeared just now? It comes out in my story!

Haha cheers, I have posted here before but currently I just write rubbish poetry for myself :D and have a few ideas for some short stories.

Nothing too serious, just signed up here initially to read actual writers posts, and hang out (e-hang out?) with people who like reading and writing.

Poetry isn't rubbish. I love it, and still write one now and then.

Hey, CassANdra! I'm borrowing Baby for a second.

*Ari and Baby rescue Tiddles and chase the plot bunny away*

*pulls a gentle curtain over what Baby does to bunny when she catches it*

Now you tell me!

And I suppose the writing counts as exercise, too???

(Any drink as long as it isn't orange juice, I really don't like orange juice. Orange juice is nasty, horrible, yucky and a lot of other words I won't use here.)

Many of my contemporaries still can't drink it because it was the favoured beverage to mix with moonshine a hundred years ago.
May I have an Americano with a splash of double cream, please?
