Has anyone read the Ranger's Apprentice novels, written by John Flanagan?

They are quick reads - and quite good. I enjoyed them a lot.

My question.....are they Mid-Grade? or YA? or both?

According to Renaissance, they are MG. Check out the toolbox sticky above. I've posted a link for Renaissance where you can plug in an author or title and find out word counts and levels. Those are on my to read list. :D

I picked The first Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan and I loved it. It was a quick read, but very absorbing. Thanks for the recommendation. What a great series.

Any other fans?

Now that Flanagan has THREE (3) volumes of his four-book set out (in the US anyway), I wanted to see if there were any other fans out there yet. If you haven't read the series, you should. You'll be hooked.

My only complaint is we in the US have to wait so long for the fourth.
