I read The Wasp Factory at university, which has to be the biggest mind-fuck of my life. I have Whit on my bookshelf, but I think I might have to try his Sci-Fi.

The Crow Road begins with the best first line ever:

It was the day my grandmother exploded.

I'm not sure if it's my favourite book of his, or whether The Wasp Factory is my favourite. And then there's Walking On Glass... too hard to choose...
