We don't have mod powers--we can't change other people's thread titles. That's a good thing though. Imagine the mess if a dozen people changed the thread title in a ten-minute time frame.

It's a good change, one that allows more control and flexibility without relying upon mod intervention.

One thing I'd advise against is to change titles upon a whim. For example, you can't start out with, "I Think Stephen King Sucks!" and then, depending how the wind blows in the discussion, change it to, "Stephen King is the Best Writer of All Time!"

NOTE: I wasn't born in 1964 and I didn't watch that much TV when I was growing up during the 70's.

Just so there's no confusion: I am not related to the famous author, Stephen King. I write WAY better than he does on even his best days.
