I never realised how expensive kettles were until just now...

Our old one crapped out today, so I just went kettle-shopping. The cheapest was $25, and that was a crap one! I wound up getting one on sale for $55, but damn, I thought kettles would be, like, $10 to $35 range.

Oh, and I finally remembered to buy screen wipes. Both my laptop and desktop screens have smudge marks on them.

you should quit licking the screens everytime someone puts a dessert up in here...

Hey everyone. Ah, hangin' out on AW late in the night... I'll miss it for the weekend. I'm concerned... my at&t "order" to transfer my dsl and useless phone looks like it was only the damn phone that was transferred. I hope this is just their usual tom-foolery and the internet is somehow hidden deep inside the phone transfer. I am very disheartened by their horrid customer service. I'd go somewhere else if the cost of a modem and "start up fees" weren't prohibitive. And yes, I've checked, the other company won't take my current modem. Denied.

My apartment still looks like a bomb went off in it. There's no room to move, and I'm still not all packed. I haven't the heart to disassemble my computer yet. I think I'll do it tomorrow. And find some way to vacuum, at least a little, before my folks get here.

oh, so have a great weekend everyone... I hope I am back soon....
