Night Flyer, you will never know what your car is actually worth without looking it up on
Kelly Blue Book or on
Edmunds. Frankly, I would look it up on both if I were selling a car. Just remember those numbers are guidelines, so a person may offer you more or less than the actual numbers given. You have to decide what you want for the car and how long you are willing to wait to get it.
Blue book came up with 2000 for fair condition, it might be in good condition- not sure. 2500 for good. No where close to the offered $700.
Thanks Ambrosia!!
May be a change of game plan, though. A friend of my brother needs an airconditioner for his and his wife's bedroom (summer is brutally hot here makes it hard to sleep at night w/o the air running), and I have a small unit in my room. So, I was thinking of offering a bundle package.
My tv, airconditioner, and computer. That way I can keep my car to get to and fro work and around and still get the money for the mortgage. My brother is suppose to run it by him tomorrow.
Good news, I keep my car and pay the bloodsuckers.
Bad news, I lose you guys.
Oh, damn. DD #1 is going to have her dog put down. The dog suffered some kind of stroke; the dog hasn't been normal for the past few months anyway.
So sorry. It's the hardest thing to have to do. Even if it's for the best, it's always just so sad.
