Morning cantinas :Sun:

I've been feeling fairly exhausted for most of the past week, hence no posting. In fact, I've done almost no anything - writing, reading, interacting with life - apart from listening to Stephen King reading On Writing (Pow! Super!) and I have managed to decorate some of that cupboard I mentioned last time. The main thing I have managed to do there is scatter the entire contents across the house. that'll be condusive to a calm working atmosphere, now won't it? You can't shut one of the main curtains without falling over a heap of gardening equipment.

One writing thing I have managed to do thanks to Mr King is to rotate my desk 90 degrees so it faces the most boring, uninteresting wall I can find. Pow! I'll let you know if it works.

Final day of Italy's premier bicycle race today, there is the possibility of it being won by a Canadian for the first time ever, so Go Canada! I include a link in case anyone should actually be interested. No? Just me then? Oh well, more lycra for me - yummy. Super!

Now, is there any fresh coffee? Did I miss anything? (I mean other than the usual craziness obviously.)

4,257 words today. Just one scene left.

But that'll be tomorrow, since I'm all :e2thud:.

Night folks! Or morning! Or whatever. Leave a smibble burning in the window!

That is so awesome! The most I've written in a day was a little over 3k.

And good morning friends!

I got brave last night and I cut Little Kricket's hair. I've never cut someone else's hair in my life. I'm pretty proud of the results.

And that is all. Time to burp the baby.

Multiquote from sunday night

Hey! Sian, Liosse, and SaraP! Woo!
*looks out at the dong garden* Seems like they're doing pretty well this year.
Hey :) And that thing is still around? I would have thought it would have run out of steam by now...

I've had nights like that...

Epic chocolate timezs is my modius operandi leading up to exams. All that sugar makes me hyper enough to study.

Guys. Guys. Guess what?

DUUUUUUUCKLIIIIIIIIIIIINGS!

*dies dies dies of cute*

Awww. All I've got is crazy possums atm. Lucky you :)

I want to read your fanfic.

You have my email, right?

Wish me luck everyone. I'm going to take the plunge and BUY A HORSE. I'm waiting to hear back about a certain destrier :)

Wow. Good luck with the horse. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am, but weren't you already the proud owner of horses?

We can leave the smibbles in. :)

If there's coffee going, the smibble will have to vacate the premises

(I love it when I read some of my old FF pieces and they make me cry - awesome feeling. :) )

Awww. You FF pieces are always good. d

Good to see you. If it helps I hadn't written anything for about three months before yesterday, so you're not doing too bad.

Thank you *Slurps coffee* I swear that I thought my head was going to explode, until I managed to get a little typing time in last night. I was going crazy.

I also managed to cut my hair last week (yes, I really do mean it that way), it's so nice having less hair in hot weather.

hate to break it to you, my weekend is still going strong! :)

Well, it was a good, lazy sunday, but over too quickly. Especially considering that I had a week full of study awaiting.

*wanders off to find the coffee*

In the map of awesomeness, was there a coffee well installed?

I wish, oh I wish. Just imagine being able to lower a bucket sized mug and bring up hot, steaming, perfect coffee. It would have to be in a place with hot springs though.

Probably. It'd be like those aluminium stove top coffee machines that make the coffee taste metallic when it's done.
We'd have to line the shaft with glass. There. Problem solved

Except for the fact that you're DRINKING COFFEE -- ignore that and you're good to go. :D

*tries to figure out how to approach this*

You know, Bettie, living in someone's backyard means that you can actually talk to them in pe--. No.

Send him an email? As opposed to the people who aren't living in--. No.

You do that, Bettie! Let us know how it goes! :D

Not to worry 10, you're required to give out your email address to whomever lives in your back yard.

Well, I know I'm well and truly engrossed in a new writing project when I sit down to read, and can't focus. The little voice in my brain keeps whispering, "Your story is better!"

The dong garden will never die!

Sian, I havent owned a horse for years. I've been riding other people's horses. I've also been offered many free ones and wisely said no. Board usually starts at 300$ a month so there are no free horses.

Night folks! Or morning! Or whatever. Leave a smibble burning in the window!

Um, so that's why PETA is finally banging on our door. Prepare the defences!

Congrats to everyone who is conquering writerly things :)

Well... I *suppose* we could put a tea well in next to it. Would that help?

Er, well nevermind him, *I* would like a tea well. Pretty please.

Well, I know I'm well and truly engrossed in a new writing project when I sit down to read, and can't focus. The little voice in my brain keeps whispering, "Your story is better!"

Hahaha. Awesome.

Holy awesomesauce. I got six reps from you folks just last night.

Woo!

Would I be going overboard if I said that calls for a rep?

I would? Ah well bugger it. *reps you anyway*

And did my email make it through the internet jungle this time? :D
