Mythomania May 500 words/day--all genres welcome!

957 words today. Only just found out hubby is taking a vacation day tomorrow, which will cut into my writing time. Oh, well.

I have to hand it to you who write during the evenings and on weekends. Those are the times I get very little, if any, writing in. All the distractions. I need a quiet house with no one else in it but my imaginary friends.

Had to share that the murder scene just came to me, complete. 475 words of appalling beauty. I love when it comes that way and I don't have to think.

Bah! Had to work a bunch the past week.

Almost hit 15k for the month, but ended with 14,250.

Weirdly, thanks to my cat, I wrote 437 words this morning. Was supposed to fly out to England, but ten minutes before the taxi was due, he started to get sick as if he had swallowed something he shouldn't. Vet said he was OK, whatever it was he'd got rid of, but just to watch him, but missed the flight and then had to wait up til 9am (taxi was due at 3:30am) to let dad know the cat was OK. So whilst I was waiting, albeit slightly sleep-deprived, I wrote some!

Hah! Sorry to bump this thread, but I just realized that I never included my words from 5/29 in my total.

I had just over 14,800 for the month. I was under 200 words from reaching my goal.

I know it's super close. Alas, the universe still says: to me.
