My favorite cat, Helvetica the Bold, was one of these two breeds. My husband and I were never sure which one since we got him as a rescue kitten. From the pictures, he seemed closer to the Norwegian Forest Cat. (A great descriptive name, by the way, isn't it?)

Memories of a good kitty who wanted to sleep on top of my head every night.

Don't believe I've ever posted in this thread, so pardon me if I dip in. Hoping people's windchill ain't been as brutal as mine. Been stackin on the layers.

It's been chilly here the past two days, but not real cold. Currently it's 41 F. Last Sunday it was 70 F.

I just looked at the average yearly rainfall for San Diego. You only get 12 inches of rain a year?

During the flood in 2010 we got 20-22 inches in two days. That was a tad more rain than we wanted.

I just looked at the TV schedule. There is not a darn thing on I want to watch. The local PBS station is doing one of those pledge drives; what crap.
