FAWM and FebNoWriMo!

I've still done nothing, which is kind of pathetic considering today was a half day at school (though I did eat the chocolate ), but the good news is I finally got a job shadow set up (which took over a month to do...). Still reading, and I'm 97% done with one scholarship... Still no writing for this month. Some progress, at least. Slow, slow progress.

Good to see folks are doing well. After a few days of lacking inspiration I am up and running again, and have 358 words so far. I think this may end up being quite long. I can see lots of different branches already.

I get to watch cartoons for my statistics homework over the weekend! Yay!

Whoa! That's so awesome! I wish I could write that much. For me though my goal is 1,000 words a day and today I hit that with 1,062!

Good job! I'm retired now and have a lot of time to figure out what works for me. Personally I lay in bed at night dreaming up the next five thousand words of the story after I finish writing. So each night, I finish the 5k I planned before, and plan a new 5k. In between writing I make charts of how the story is progressing, how I want it to end, the highs and the lows, and most importantly I solve rubix cubes when I'm not in the writing zone. After I first learned how to solve one, I found it ordered my mind well for writing.

I hope those suggestions help you exceed your goals a second time!

P.S. Look up the petrus method of solving rubix cubes, it's so fun!

I did nothing yesterday or last night, but today is my birthday! So I guess that's my excuse. >_>

Happy birthday! I try and plot out my next batch of words the night before too but sometimes that doesn't work so well for me. But I did reach my goal today! 1,111 written. So far so good.

I've thought about the NaNo, done research, and read a novella.

Thanks everyone, here's hoping I can belt out another 5k today!

I moved some dialogue from ch 5 to ch 11 to delay a reveal.

Pounded out 5k more last night, wooh!!!!!!

It's almost halfway through the month, and so far I have:

*90% of one Spanish unit done
*5 of 10 books read
*zero written words
*97% of four scholarships (this one isn't my fault! Since I'm graduating early my transcript is all screwy and they're taking forever to fix it... >.>')

Need to pick up the pace a little bit, but I'm not too far behind where I want to be. Job shadow tomorrow. Hope it goes okay.
