I was just trying to figure out how the internal/external conflicts for each of my characters would intertwine throughout the book so I can wing it accordingly. Figured it out for my FMC and now I have to do my MMC.
It always amazes me how people are able to plan like that. I've tried so many times but I just can't do more than a list of rough bullet points, if that. I think I write better when I wing it but I always hit a brick wall so...
Twifties! *tacklehugs*
Hey
Sorry I've been totally absent these past few weeks. I've been busy with school and babysitting (sadly I haven't done much writing). So, what's new with you all? Any agent/deal/finishing a ms/etc. news?
I recently changed my external conflicts, so I started a rewrite. I figured out how my FMC's conflicts intertwine, and it's pretty cool. Now on to my MMC's. Both of theirs is difficult to figure out...I got how my MMC's conflicts intertwine in Act1 down and an idea for the middle, but I need to fill in the beginning of Act 2 and the end, and Act 3 too. Though Act 3 will be sorta easy to figure out. It's Act 2 that might be tough.
Cool! What's the side project about?
Also, you're writing picture books? Yay! How does one query a picture book? It's always been really foreign to me.
TMB is about a girl, Prudence, and her over a year. She's coping with her best friend's, Daniel, death, who she'd fallen in love with. It's written in a journal format.
