Still waiting on the agent.

I hate waiting, and the longer this stretches out the more it feels like a rejection. :(

I'm probably just being pessimisty - but still.

Yo.

I don't think I'm too old yet (22) and I don't think I write YA (I approach my stuff as adult fiction, but a lot of my work has teen narrators). Can I hang out it here anyway?

I just felt like hanging out in some new places, and seeing as there's no literary fiction social thread...

Come on in, kuwisdelu :welcome:

The thread title is tongue-in-cheek. We take everyone :)

Hey all! Top of the afternoon to ya! :D

Still no news on the sub front for me either, PD. Very nerve racking. But I always figure no news is good news, as it means I haven't officially been rejected yet. ;)

Welcome to the new people! I come and go a lot. Mostly on the TWFT thread (even though I'm 11 days from being 21 lol).

waiting for an agent to get back to me about a full. Hating the waiting game :(

:( Waiting is the absolute worst! I'm querying right now, and I haven't slept through the night in over two weeks. I wake up at least once an hour with an overwhelming need to check my email. Hopefully that's not happening to you!

Waiting on any news of my YA fantasy, Screamcatcher...my precioussssssss. My agent an I have such high hopes for this one. It's already received an offer from a smaller press, but we have to wait for some very late acknowledgments from two publishers who lost it, and one that hasn't gotten to it yet.

Tri--red-shifting to wait some more.

I'm not that bad - yet.

I've queried before though, but this is the longest wait time. Usually I've to gotten a rejection letter by now.

So far, so good ;)
