It's Friday! I done with work for the day! Now, I just have to feed the troops then hide in my office with the door locked so I can do some readin' and writtin' in peace. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......................

We are a greedy lot.

I went to the grocery store today. When I was leaving I looked at the lottery machine. The Mega Millions option had sold out.

I was only interested because I told my darling grandgirl (DDG) I would buy her a ticket.

The lottery is okay, as long as you really don't believe in it. I've heard that the Italians refer to such lotteries as a "tax on imbeciles".

I'd be happy with just enough to get out from under this money pit and have a place with running water, and to be able to eat.

Geez, nighty wishing you that and all of life's good fortunes and to everybody too! s! The day before we were wishing for toilets that flushed! *sigh*.

I wonder if I can look up on the internet to see if I won. I'm so sure that I did!!

Of course the Italians use play money anyway.
