Well... I have to say, the only sport I've ever played on a baseball field(?) definitely involved pinning down and butt-smacking. And all the bases were definitely covered.

I suspect there were more people involved in my neighborhood.


Also, we played at an intersection (two dead end streets).

And no one was loaded.





Which is not to say your way doesn't sound like fun.

We're on baby watch. Got a text from Boychild. Wifey went into labor late last night. Still no word this morning, so I don't know what's happening, but it could be today. (* wants a pacing but not bummed smiley)

Newest text: She's still having pains, but they sent her home very early this morning. No idea yet if this is back labor (which I had--it's active labor but low-keyed and can go on for DAYS) or on-going Braxton-Hicks or what. Boychild is staying home from work, just to be the brunt of all her misery (his words, followed by a FWIW).

Probably won't be traveling today, but may well be by the end of the week.
