She falls in love with a guy that kidnaps her and keeps her hostage. I am not okay with that. Also, it's been about a year since I read the book and I'm still annoyed by the girl's "love people for who they are and not what they look like" speech at the end.

My pairing is like Kurtofsky. Hopefully I won't rip Glee off if I ever write it.

So...HR, does that mean you hate Beauty and the Beast in general? Because that is kind of the basis of the story in every case. And I totally forgot that speech until you mentioned it just now. My favorite part of the book was the blind tutor though, so I mostly paid attention to him...

No, though in watching the movie again I am a little creeped out by that part of the story. The blind tutor was my favorite part too.

That entire episode was a Fleetwood Mac episode. Thankfully they played the original version of The Chain in the episode. And I believe after watching I spent about 3 hours listening to Don't Stop on repeat (<--I found this somewhat ironic).

Karaofsky is a twat. And he needs to come out of his padded closet with too many locks and stop being such a jerk.

Some people can't accept their gayness. Especially in a place like Lima, which granted, the Glee Lima is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Real Lima, BUT it is a tiny little place (population of about 40,000, which is hardly twice the size of my university) people aren't open about that sort of thing usually. Which is part of why Kurt sticks out like a sore thumb.
