Thanks. But at this point I'm awake and eating my first breakfast. I think I'll settle into the couch soon and get some pre-dawn zz's. It's gotten pretty calm up there now.

Came home exhausted and took a very long nap - I've been up since 9 pm or so, and now I've seen Captain America. I've never been into blonde dudes.... but Thor and Captain America might have me changing my mind. Maybe. Just a little.

I'm off tomorrow - and must begin the serious attempt at packing. Like, for reals. And to clean the damn kitchen.

The dragon gave a huge yawn, a puff of smoke escaping her jaws, and said, "I'll play."

She did not expect the tomato that pelted her in the face. Wiping it off with her formidable claws, the dragon looked at the orc and said, "I've still got some room in my stomach for you. The stupid neighbors didn't quite fill me up."

"Soon fix that," said the fairy waving her wand. With a pop the orc turned into a ball shaped orc.

"What are we playing exactly?" asked the fairy.

"Baseball or Cricket," replied the Horse, "depending on what side of the Pond we're on I guess."

"Hey!" yelled the kitten, "our ball's getting away."

They turned to see the little ball shaped orc running for all it was worth across the grass towards the nearest tree.

He began screaming for the Wonder Twins, BunnyTrooper and SoftBoiledSheep.

But the tree turned out to be a whomping willow. It batted the orc back to the other four. It waved its branches happily.

"Five on one!" screamed the orc. "Lets show that tree"

so a bimbo takes the bat and hefts it over one shoulder.

"What are we swinging at?" she says in a slow drawl. "the orc or the tree? I prefer the orc; mobile targets are more of a challenge."

Why don't you see how high up the tree you can hit the orcball?

The bimbo took careful aim. "This is how we do it in the boondocks!" she shouted, then swung.

THWAP!

The orc sailed up up up into the air, and into the tangled branches of the tree.

There was a howl of pain from the orcball as it sailed through the air. Back down on the ground the players heard it yell,
"I wouldn't mind, but it's my bat." There was a crunch as the ball made contact with the wood, and then they heard "Hah! Take that. Engard."

"What's it doing?" asked the kitten.

"Sounds like karate," said the dragon.

"You know karate?" asked the kitten.

"Sure," said the dragon, "here, let me show you."

"Hay!" said the horse. "I need moar lines!"
