My little old lady dog is gone

You knew your dog better than anybody else and your love for her shines through in your words. There is no one in the world who was better equipped to make the hardest decision. If you felt it was time, then it was.

I am so very sorry for you loss, but please don't second guess yourself. You obviously loved her very much and wanted to do what was best for her so she wouldn't suffer. Gently letting them go when it is their time is the most selfless gift that we can give to them, after all they give to us. I'm sorry your pup is having a hard time too - maybe you can join a fun training class like agility or something, to keep both of your minds busy?
