It rained at 5pm so no nap. I feel so cheated. Having Greek salad for dinner and two frozen Reese's PBC for dessert. Oh lucky me!

Raining here now. We're suppose to get another blast of winter weather later this week; possibly some of the coldest temperatures we've had. We've mostly had a mild winter here. One little dusting is all the snow we've had.

I'm not complaining! Bring on the cool weather, I say!

Hmm. My DVD drive is making funny noises... I'm ripping a CD, but it shouldn't be louder than my music! I hope it doesn't crap out on me...

I tend to burn through DVD drives pretty quickly, what with watching DVDs on computers and not on the TV. Seriously, why do most DVD players suck so bad? Either the player skips, has poor picture quality or doesn't work at all, or the remote buggers itself after the 5th DVD.

I get to go to the Uni tomorrow for a 1st-year meet-and-greet. Should be fun.

Spring is really nice here; lots of flowering trees and shrubs. It will begin to be more springlike around the middle of March.

And late-March is when I move house. Hopefully it's cooler at that point... Last 2 times we moved house, it was the height of Summer. Ugh.

In local news, Volkswagen has now built their 50,000th VW in Tennessee. This is their own North American plant, I believe. The plant was just completed about a year ago.

That's a lot of cars!

They sell about 16 million new vehicles here each year, including trucks and SUVs.

The VW plant is just getting cranked up.

Yeah, I sometimes forget how many people there are in America...

50,000 doesn't sound like a lot when you look at how many people there are over there.

Here I think we have about 17 million people. A LOT less than most countries.

Yeah, but you have a lot more kangaroos, and koalas . . . and snakes.

And more species of deadly spiders than anywhere else...

It's not a good place to be an arachnophobe. Or maybe the smartest place to be an arachnophobe...

Wolf woke me up at 545am. Man has a death wish.

Actually, he was leaving to go away over night...he's got the big, important Dream Job interview tomorrow am, and it's over 5 hrs drive from here. He went a day early to check out the area and do some research so that he's uber prepared for the interview.

So, everyone was up to say goodbye. *yawn*

Praying he gets this job. It would enable us to move out of our current city, which is something we've wanted since before getting married (9 yrs in Apr). Better weather means pain levels are better for me, or at least less 'please kill me' days due to the cold.
