sooo...I was writing my query letter to NB and customizing it, and I changed the Dear... to him, and I swear i proofed and everything, but apparently not, and I accidently put Ms. and not Mr.

Tried that too. Maybe it's something in the body of the query that's tripping off a spam filter.

If you have a blog or website address as part of your signature it could trip up a spam filter

I know she's been on vacay and may be on her way to London now - or is that Friday?? But has anyone got a recent idea on Ginger Clark's response times? Nibbling cuticles since I consumed the fingernails.

As I recall, she doesn't usually send a rejection, but does tweet where she is on her queries. I queried her on 6/28 and on 7/9 called it closed because she'd tweeted that she was up to 7/1 in her inbox, which meant she'd read mine and not requested.

She'll get back to you about your partial. I had one out to her earlier this year. I believe the wait was approximately 3 weeks--in fact, I posted here asking the same thing and she responded to me about ten minutes later!

i sent my full 7/14. she said to give her 4-6 wks to respond but i dont think that applies since she did take a short leave recently. just dont want to nudge coz that usually results into an ugly fat R.

Okay, who's going to London? Is it Sarah LaPolla? I have an R & R that I'm planning to send to her (maybe this week), but I don't want to send it if she's gone.

I don't know if Sarah is since I believe she's in Nathan's office. I know Ginger C. is.

I heard back from her recently and am working on a revision for her.

I'm sure you'll hear back from her soon. All fingers and toes crossed for you! (and everyone else, of course)

I know Ginger C. is in London and it sounds like maybe she'll be in Europe next week, but does anyone have any idea when she gets back? I promised her an exclusive expecting 6 weeks or less. I think it will be more like ten or more weeks now.
