I'm new here and enjoy reading threads throughout this site. I'm shooting in the dark about the placement of this topic, but here it is.
My manuscript is perhaps a year, or longer, from print. In the meantime, there is potential for the primary item throughout my non-fiction story to be saleable. I mean this in an aspect of its use for advertising by its manufacturer, not in my sale of it.
I am wondering how to determine a price, or value, for the use of the item, which would naturally include my presence.
Any comment or direction is appreciated.
