I know I'm not at the required fifty posts yet for posting a story, but I'd still like to know the proper format on posting one when I can. Does one include the story title in the subject line? Do people use outgoing links for stories or is that not allowed?

And how do I find stories? I realize that they're under their genre subforums, but is there a way to filter through the discussions to find stories to read and comment on?

That's all I have for now. If I think of anything else, I'll post them.

Everything in the SYW section should be stories, rather than articles.

Most people post the story name plus word count in the title, if that helps. Also, if working on a novel-length story, it is usual to only post excerpts - critters generally prefer say, under 1000 words or so, although I've seen 4-5000 words before.
