Congratulations to all the winners. It was an outstanding collection of poems all around. I thoroughly enjoyed each one.

'Want to add my congratulations to Nikki. Wallflower made my last cut; rereading it now, I see the mistake was mine! For Memorial Day weekend, I couldn't pass up 'Summer remembers the price that was paid /bleaching the white off the crosses'.

Thanks for doing all the work, Piah; and my thanks to KCT for bringing up the rear so the rest of us didn't have to. (I think of your prayer wheels whenever I see a bicycle leaning against a wall).

I just returned home from traveling and was so excited to see the results of our poem contest. Congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated, even to those brave lurkers who "peeped in" to see what all the hubbub was about. Hopefully, like aadams, others will give it a whirl and join us for the (hopefully soon) next contest that our great mods make possible.

I'm so happy I found the AW poetry crew, it's a such a treat to have you guys mixed in with the business of each day!

I got the wonderful book "The Wild Iris" as my prize. Some very nice poetry in here. Well worth it.
