I'm not much at illustrating. Here is a somewhat lacking attempt to create one of the creatures from my story.

I love the sky and the gargoyle's pretty cool ... have you thought about giving it some big ol' fangs? Sort of a Venom from SPIDERMAN 3 vibe?

But that sky's a real trip, imo.

I thought his mouth was open, too - lol.

I like it because it is ethereal - kind of like a Rorschach inkblot. Very cool.

Makes me think in a creature outside our common reality but trapped in some sort of limbo (a la spirit world) o our world

Interesting concept Max. The interesting thing is that these creatures do move in and out of realms.
