IPAD emulator

I'm looking for an emulator that will run IPAD or IPHONE apps on a PC.

I have a writing project pending on having access to one and no buddies with one or money to pick one up.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Well, the only way I know of to do that is to buy a dev kit for iOS, which includes an emulator. But that's $99 per year. (And I am not sure, but it may only work on a Mac.) There's also I think an emulator being Kickstarted at the moment, but I'd be wary of that. The cheapest option would probably be to buy a second-hand iPod touch from eBay or something, which would still set you back about $70-$100.

Maybe the good people over in Tech help would know more about this. I mean, there are some cross-posting, and some of the regulars here are active over there. But that place has so many many more people that can answer that particular question.
