Yes, it's Thanksgiving Day. It's always on the fourth Thursday of November.

Most people get today and tomorrow off, which is why tomorrow is such a big shopping day.

Black Friday shoppers are our equivalent of soccer fans. Get enough of them together and they go crazy.

I try to not even go out on Black Friday. I am tomorrow because I'm taking DD #1 out to lunch.

Have fun, AC. I hope the restaurant is nowhere near a Shopping Maul.

:D

Happy Thanksgiving, all.

Happy Thanksgiving, those who celebrate!

Personally, I think you'd have to be crazy to go out on Black Friday. I shop nice and safe at home from my computer. :)

Shopping Maul!!! OMG, that was good, Gail.

Black Friday shoppers are lunatics. I do not go near shopping mauls during this time. I do most of my shopping via trusty computer. Who needs the aggravation?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I like shopping, but not crowds. This is why I do my Christmas shopping months in advance.

I'll give the Black Friday sales a miss, thanks. And good thoughts go out to NF, who'll probably be working on Black Friday. Eek!

This might be a good time for her fabled dragon breath. It probably won't stop the charge of shoppers, but it'll turn them into charcoal.

Good morning, house of multi-ethnicity.

And a very happy Thanksgiving to all you 'Mericans. :)

Last night I watched a documentary on crowd chaos. They showed a lot of footage on Black Friday sales. Wow. I'd seen you guys talking about it, but I never realized just how bad it can get! Sheesh!. As the doors opened at a Wal-Mart store, at like 3am, or some ungodly hour, a woman fell down and the crowd surged right over her. She was badly hurt. In another scene, a massive fight broke out and people were slugging each other in some sort of free-for-all.

If you guys are going shopping tomorrow, please take care. I don't think any bargain is worth broken bones.

Seriously. A pie in the fridge is worth ten in the shop.

:D

This is why I do not leave my house on Friday after Thanksgiving. It's insanity.

Me and the cat around to duke it out. She is being a snotface!!! BAD KITTEH! I'm going to pick her up and kisses her... that will teach her a lesson. Damn kitteh.

Also = dishwasher packet did not open. Dishes were not washed, only steamed. What the hell? I am washing them again.

And you thought people only did this to get into colleges. Actually, the college stuff is usually done by mail here. They want to be sure you can pay, and they don't want the check lost in any stampedes.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Let you in on a secret: The day after Thanksgiving is the best day to mail holiday presents; lines are minimal.

Happy Thanksgiving Floozies and Funners! Just got back from my parents, my tummy is stuffed. Trying to fight the urge to nap as I still have a full shift to work.

Poor bf is sick, I've made it my mission not to breathe his air, if he gets me sick...

I'll come clean if you let me take some leftovers home.

I'm just sittin' here with my mom and bro, catching up on AW, feelin' lazy, and watching the news. I'z happy.

Hope everyone had a nice Turkey Day, even if you didn't have turkey.

Hmmm...I don't have any of the above. Sorry.

*rummages through refrigerator*

The best I can do is...peach-pecan. Only one slice left.

That's okay. I actually have a frozen blueberry pie I could bake. Plus some brownie mix. Plus a little peach cobbler pie left.

The optimum serving of pie is 3.14 slices.

The optimum serving of pie is all of it.

Not that I'm greedy.
