I've been hovering for a while and thought it was time to say hello

I started writing since I was a child out of natural enjoyment but not so much in the last few years more out of lack of confidence than anything else. I guess I've reached a point in my life where I want to learn more and hopefully overcome the confidence issues to be able to develop my writing. I look forward to reading more of people's work and hopefully posting some of my own sometime.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Until recently I thought good writers never, ever felt bad about their work! It's very reassuring to hear it's a common theme. This is a really good site.
