They had a display with a large cardboard cutout of Taylor Swift wearing a Santa hat. Hope would have liked that.

How cute! Remind me not to take her in there or we might leave with it...

If it wasn't so much trouble to mail I might see if my brother or SIL had one at their stores (although they're not Walgreens).

I think someone broke into Taylor's condo a week ago. I'm not sure, I seem to remember seeing that on the news.

Edited to add: I remember now, it wasn't Taylor's condo, it was a house she had bought for her parents, I believe.

Bill--does your family celebrate an alternate birthday for you? I know someone with a Christmas birthday whose family celebrates her birthday in June. It is a pretty amazing birthday to share, though.

Happy Thursday, all. I have to confess, I haven't quite been able to get into the holiday spirit. Too sad this past week. But I'm thankful to have gotten to know everyone in the House of Funners a little these past few months, so that is a good thing.

hey, all, well it wasn't as good as we had hoped. The doc recommended howie get the debridement, but at least it's up to him if he'll do it since he could live w. the wound the way it is, but prolly not a good idea. Then, we got to the Post Office 'n when we went out of there our car was dead! A very nice fellow gave the battery a jump start 'n it was ok. So good to be home. Now I guess you all were bee-havin', specially kee kat, huh. s Thx so much, guys.

Sorry to hear Susie, 'specially this time of year. I had a lot of health trouble in 2011, but got through it. I'm sure Howie will too.

I just saw a BBC report about the end of the world. The reporter noted the other times the end of the world has been predicted . . . and then very seriously explained that those didn't come true. Doh!
