Wonderful!

Bad news here. I took Kitty #2 to the specialist and she said all kinds of frowny "this doesn't look good" kinds of things. She tried and failed to get a biopsy so I'm not sure exactly what we're looking at, but it's no good whatever the case. :( Worst case lymphoma. Hopefully not.

Oh HJ, this really sucks. All I have to add is looking on hte plus side of Lymphoma, it responds well to chemotherapy. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you want to hear. But I try to see the flip side of things.

Not so good news here either. My sister's cousin (through marriage) committed suicide on Saturday in his therapists office. THey left him alone for 10 minutes. He was 25 (my age)
I wasnt close to the guy, and to be honest I cant say I was even friends with him. But I'd known him since I was 10 years old . He was the kind of guy who you noticed in a room without him even trying. He was an amazing guy, so friendly and charasmatic. He would seek you out in a crowded room just to say 'Hi, How you goin'?'
He left behind a wife and 2 baby sons.

Cant even believe it. Feel like it's a bad dream.

RIP Brad.

You'll be sorely missed by all who were blessed enough to know you.

So very sorry to hear this. Suicide is so hard on the ones left behind.:Hug2:

HJ, hopping for the 'best case' for Kitty #2.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.
I spoke to my sister last night, she is coming over today with her 2 sons at some point. Her hubby isnt handling it too well, but time will heal.

Moving onto a more positive/happy note. Working Title of my new piece: Through The Woods and Into The Trees.

I started chapter 1 yesterday. I felt so awesome actually writing something again.

And......I have another date with Past Flame again tonight. We're going out for dinner and a movie.

This current WIP is getting harder to write. I think I'm starting to hit "The Murky Middle" that everyone talks about. :( I think this might slow me down even more. I really hope I can finish this WIP, but I'm starting to think I won't be able to.

You can do it, Silver-Midnight, one word at a time.:Hug2:

I have a mover! Got a good price and didn't have to date the guy to get it either... But now just waiting for the flight company to confirm that my kitties can get on the plane, and we'll be going back to Scotland on October 30th. Had the showdown with the landlady yesterday and she actually apologised for her horrid emails and we came to a civilised arrangement over what was going to happen with the flat.

So I have a couple of days before I go home just to get everything ready before the big move, and I intend to do some writing for once.

:Hug2: You can do it! :e2cheer: I had a book that I hated once. I mean really and truly hated. If I could finish that book (and lock it up forever) you can too!

So glad things have worked out well for you, and you're now on good terms with your landlady.

My date went great!

We had dinner at a nice seafood restaurant and then went and saw 'The Watch'. It was funny, but also quite frightning at times. I felt a little bad becuase he wouldn't let me pay for my share of either dinner or the movie tickets, not that it's a bad thing, but it's only the second date.

He is making plans to book us into a very swanky hotel in a fortnight. I think things are going well.

Haha, I highly doubt I could pull off the French Maid look lol.

I did however buy a new bathing suit (it's coming into summer here) coz 'hot date' we'll call him, said he wants the suite with the spa. I havn't worn a bathing suit since I was about 16.

You deserve some fun, French! :)

I just got two bathing suits for our getaway in December. They're both... well, flattering. :) One of them is strictly for at-home or where I don't know anyone. It's eye-popping! :tongue

OOh, that sounds really cool, sounds like it's going to be a 'hot' getaway.

Since having kids my body isnt really bikini body material.
I go myself a one piece with stripes, dots and a really cute frill around the hips that covers the tops of legs.
I also got a couple of maxi dresses which are really cute. One a strapless and one a racer back with a high low bottom.

Oh I hear that! It's taken a ton of Pilates to even get to where I'm willing to be seen in a racy tankini. :D (Has anyone ever used "racy" and "tankini" in the same sentence?)

It's been 4 and a half years since I had my last baby. I was doing really good up until Blake got diagnosed then I stacked about 20kg (44lb) on in 3 years. I've lost just over 7 of those kg (15.4lb). I'm hoping to keep doing what ever it is that I'm doing.
I'm going to start swimming with the kids when the weather really starts to warm up a bit.

To answer your Q of racy Tankini lol. I think you may be the first congrats :p
