I'm about halfway through Lars Iyer's luminous take on philosophy, and, frankly, its lack of structure is breathtaking. No consistent presentation of dialogue. Prose so sparse Hemingway may be considered Shakespearean. Sections that make Dan Brown's chapters look like tomes. The crazy thing is that it all works. It all works together to make this fantastic character study of a Cambridge philosophy class.
