Okay, I write thriller/horror mainly, with a little comedy and mainstream thrown in for good measure. But I like to challenge myself, and branch out. I am doing a thriller as my Summer Writing Challenge (see signature), where we're trying to write a novel by Sept. 1. Kind of like NANO. But I'm still doing my short stories in an effort to gain pub credits before I start querying novels.

So my question: I'm thinking of doing a sci/fi story, and I wondered if I can call a spacehip a starship, or if that's only a Star Trek term. Pretty easy one, I know;)

Pub credits?

I'll have a Newcastle on Tap,
yea . . . the big Glass.

Sleep... Those little slices of Death. How I loath
Haven't been to a pub in three years, eight months, and twenty-seven days. But I'll have a Coke and be fine;)

The only credit I have to date is my story of recovery, published in the book "Voices of Alcoholism," by LaChance Publishing.
