Hello everyone! My name is Sunny and I'm veeeeery new to the whole forum thing. As in, didn't really know they existed until last week. In my defense, I'm technologically challenged to a great degree and am generally happy to do a simple internet search without crashing my computer. So please, bear with me.
I've been a writer my whole life, but made the mistake of listening to the naysayers around me for entirely too long and tried to convince myself I was a financial services person and all around office drone. Luckily I came to my senses and have shifted my life to allow myself the privilege of diligently working on the first book in a YA fantasy series and am proud of my progress. I was really hoping to find a community though, of like-minded people that can offer support and advice, and that I can possibly contribute to in some way as well. If I put my foot in my mouth at some point, please feel free to point it out. I learn quickly.
Otherwise, I'm an herbalist and sort of a modern hippie. I wouldn't say I'm a tree hugger...more like a tree patter. I have often felt the need in times of conflict to grasp hands and sing Kumbaya, but most will be happy to hear I am generally able to restrain myself.
Look forward to getting to know you all. Thanks in advance for any friendlies and advice offered.
