Basically, Astonwest got it right. I need to spend some time doing some writing. Not talking about writing, but actually doing it. I need to decide to either be a writer or give it up forever. If I feel like I don't have time to write, but I have time to be here all day, then I shouldn't be here at all. If I try to write, and I still hate it and can't do it, then I'm not a writer, which means I shouldn't be here at all.
I have to say, I'm a little surprised and quite happy that so many of you will miss me. Thank you for the messages here, the rep points, and the PMs to say goodbye. I will be back when I make some real progress on my novel. I'm sure I'll need all of you to talk about it with! I would have said that the first time, if I had known that so many of you would actually care. Thanks.
Until then, you're all going to have to figure out for yourself how to get free shampoo samples. Which will be hard, but I think you can manage.
