It's called a "near death experience," which has skeptics debating whether or not they actually "occur." There's a lot of philosophical debate on it,
and there are lots of books already on the subject.*
As far as this one individual's NDE goes, well, there's nothing unique about it. He was in an accident, had an NDE, had injuries, and has recovered.
This pretty much follows the pattern of every other NDE that's been recorded. So, I personally can't see an entire book about it. At most, his story might be a chapter in yet another book about NDEs.
*ETA: This link goes to a list of commercially-published books on the subject. Not included here are the hundreds, perhaps thousands of self-published and vanity-published books about NDEs and accident recovery topics that were written by well-meaning authors who just wanted to share their stories. Problem is that those titles are lost in a vast wasteland of similar books that readers who might be interested have no way of finding because they weren't commercially published.
