I've spent the last couple of weeks thinking I'm an idiot for thinking I can write a novel. I'm over that now. This book's going to kick arse!

Yeah, Franky, kick some arse! I think I'm getting my groove back. Well, at least I got a decent word count flowing the past couple of days. Gonna hunker down tomorrow and get it going again.

Got through two chapters tonight, including my torture chapter. Not too many changes required to these - clarified a couple of things, and killed some adverbs - but it's progress.

This editing backwards thing is working pretty well so far.

y'all sound like you're kickin'! I'll join the fray. While my internet was out most of a day, the only thing that worked on my iPad was Storyist. I've got 1050 total over various projects. Even through the power outage.

No wordage for me over the past 4 days! Well, no excuse other than it was my b-day weekend.

Another year older and none the wiser.

Did get words today, even a few edits in, and I am loving this scene. Not huge wordage, but wordage just the same. 723 for this afternoon, closing out the chapter and bringing the WIP total to 55,421!

Seventeen chapters plus the prologue to go. I won't be done in February, but I don't think it will take me all of March, either.

Well, I deleted 973 words and wrote 975 new ones. Although two of those are possibly "Chapter Twenty". In which case I replaced 973 words with 973 words. Not bad.

Two more chapters through the wringer. Once again, not a lot of changes here, just making some things more explicit. (But not a lot more.)

I've got sixteen more left, including the prologue, so I'm hoping to finish on March 8. And then...a new query letter. Gulp.
