Points of view

Has any one seen a series where the points of view have been done differently in one book in contrast to others in the series?

Yes. Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, for one. He begins the series in a first-person POV, but some later books are in third-person.

IIRC, people complained that Patricia Cornwall did that with her coroner's office series. I stopped reading her some time back, so I can't confirm or deny.

His latest release is in third person POV. Just found out next year's release is back to first person POV.

I seem to remember that S.L. Viehl's Stardoc series started off in first person and then had one book (or maybe a couple) in third person.
