I suspect she slept with Simon Crowell.

And she's not really that young. They just doll her up so she looks younger.

The US Little League World Series championship game is tomorrow. Tennessee (Southeast) vs. California (West).

I wonder if DuchessMary would like to make a friendly (or not-so-friendly) wager on the game?

My cat wants to play fetch this morning (when she's not attacking my feet). Both of the partial Russian Blue cats I've had have loved to play fetch.

I thought your cat was grown. If she still attacks feets, please tell me she's a kitten. Please, I so had hoped...

She's grown, but here lately she's wanted to practice cat karate on my feet.

She will run in front of me and lie down in the hope that I will try to "get her" with my feet and then she can attack back.

Sob. No, I'm fine, the twitch, no I've always had that. Yes, I've always walked dragging one foot. Yes, that's a kitten attached tooth and claw to that foot.

I need thicker socks. Thanks be, it's getting cooler. Winter socks in the summer - I haz skinny feets now.

I never start the game, my feets never attack her, unless standing up, or uncovering my feet is the signal.

Most particle board and pressure treat has cchemicals in it that will give off fumes when you burn it. I wouldn't advise using it for a campfire. Maybe you can stick it on the curb with a FREE sign?

Anyways, have fun camping and don't burn the state down. ;)

I have no idea what the regulations are where you live. Are you camping in a park where there might be a Mr. Randy Ranger to ask?

You should never burn anything with "glue" in an indoor fireplace, such as press board or plywood, but I'm not sure about outside. If you do, don't breath the fumes.

I would say just break up the shelf unit (if it's press board that wouldn't be that hard to do) and use something else for your campfire. Just an opinion.

Edited to add: I cross-posted with kayleamay. I didn't mean to duplicate her reply.

Thank's yo's! I'll go against burning it. I don't want to stink up the site!

I like kayleamay's idea of sitting it on the curb. It's amazing the stuff people will take. I once had some rolls of wire that had been used to make a dog pen (they were more like remnants of rolls). I sat it on the curb with a Free sign on it and it was gone in an hour.

Well, in that case, thank you. Last week I watched a PBS retro music program and had Grazing in the Grass as an earworm. This week I have Cher Lloyd. Death doesn't seem so terribly bad.

Baseball bites. I don't mind little league so much. A few years ago Chula Vista, CA took it all home and we were all having a cow. :D

Around here football, basketball, and now hockey get all the attention. I'm glad to see the young baseballers get a little.

The exact centre of all of existence
It's sort of like baseball, except the bat's a different shape, there are two batters on the pitch at a time, in the centre of the oval (not the corner of the diamond) and the ball is meant to bounce before it reaches the batter.

Apart from that, it's pretty much the same.

And when I said I prefer cricket... I meant playing it. Cricket I can actually hit the ball on occasion, whereas baseball I don't think I've ever even hit the ball (except on Wii Sports, where I always get caught out...).

Morning, house of wii sports. :)

I had the best fruit gazpacho ever last night. It was like having dessert first.

Which is not really related to the current subject. I just felt like sharing.

-heyjude, a corn dog. :)

Did you stir it with a cricket bat, perchance?
