Hey everyone, I am sushi_error and I am 16 years old. I live in the United States and I am an avid writer. I write about whatever is on my mind and most of the time my writings tend to be political-related. I love to write, but wish I had more time to do so. I am sure I will soon because I will have to write college essays and whatnot soon! I am currently in the process of trying to publish a children's illustration book with a close friend of mine. We want to put the drawings we have received from children living in poverty-stricken and/or war-torn regions across the world in our book. Anyways, hope to meet all of you soon!

Sounds like you've already made a great start to your writing life, with a special purpose, so congratulations too.

Have you considered screenwriting?
It is shorter to write and easier to do in terms of structure, format and storyline.
And you are young, the best time to start.
If you love the movies, you should consider this route.
