Somebody told me once that even baby steps are still steps and, considering the job interview and the homophobe, you've had a pretty high-strung week.

Well-rested blood too. Like mine. I...um...also have zero words this week. Oh, I do have a submission and a rejection. I have an edit too, but no new words. Unless you count my blog post, which if you're real generous you will.
DL, of course, is not real generous.

anyway... nada on the blog. nada on the paying articles (but a project long, LONG in the pipeline has finally shuffled my way, so two weeks of good solid work starts... tomorrow
)Did manage to eke out 4000k, about 3/4 of which was new and the rest was revisions.
More to come perhaps this week, depending on how the editing goes, but will try and resub the piece that got turned down two weeks ago. No word yet on the earlier submission...

Not about the goals, which to be honest I didn't really look at. But the meticulous presentation of those goals... all it was missing was a flow chart. I am impressed.

Auuugggghhhhh! My eyes, my eyes! Leukman, put a table cloth on that thing at least. There really are some things that man was not meant to know (or see).
On a lighter note I got a rejection for "Night On A Boat" from Fear & Trembling today. It appears that 2 of their editors didn;t care for it much although they said it was an automated rejection. One said "Same old plus the gore doesn't fit their core values" and the other said "This story has gore and shock, but doesn't add anything new to the mythology".
Oh, well. Their loss. Onwards and upwards (or rather downwards on the Ole' Submission Trail list).
