I'm another oldster ... 47 years ... but I feel about 12. I've wanted a writing career since I was a kid, and finally have made up my mind to make that happen this year. (I've been a copy editor and proofreader, mostly.) Now I'm writing an upmarket women's novel, I'm working on breaking into freelance magazine writing (NF), and I post to four different blogs.
Till now I'm been in my own bubble, not getting out much, but have been delighted to find forums like this, other writers' blogs, even Twitter (never would have thought I'd be there!). What a wonderful world. I'm looking forward to learning my way around this site and becoming part of the community.
