Tired, cleaning. Trying to think of a new book idea. At least the weather is decent! Can't wait for winter to come back! :)

[

yeah most of my writing is between 10 pm and wee hours of the morning. I don't sleep much hate to say. I use to have the killer schedule like you have at work but recently my job was eliminated so I have more time but less time considering son is also off for summer break. So I try to sneak in time during the day when he is busy with his legos or watching tv. But not easy. lol. I'm half way done with final book in children's series so hoping to get it done this week.

Grabbing a cup of tea and starting the wee hours writing. Take care all.

Ah, you must be a dragon! Same here, work all day and stay up all night. But I don't recommend it, sleep is important to your health and you have the little one to take care of. It's very difficult with children, I don't think I wrote a whole lot when mine were little. (not that I write much now either)

Good luck on getting your book done! And take care of yourself. :)

Ugh. Revision work! How's everyone doing? :)

Doing great. Personally, I like revision work much better than working on a first draft. For the first draft it just seems to take forever for me to get anything done. Second drafts are much faster and third drafts are even better. But that's just me.

Ok. Just finished writing 26 assessment questions testing HS students' knowledge of the Obama presidency. Before I start my second freelance gig of the day, I figured I'd stop in for a beer. Anybody buying?

*crickets*

Never mind. I'll buy my own. :D

Ok, now to go write a bunch of questions related to public speaking. I tell you, I'm a girl who knows how to have a good time.

Thanks L.Y.

In a bunker, lobbing grenades at the plot bunnies.
I'll hang for a bit! I love irish coffee.

Ralf, I always tell students it generally takes me 3 times as long to create an assessment as it takes them to write it. So they need to spend as much time preparing for it. Never works, though. :p

(sipping coffee, wishing it would rain. Anyone have a good rain dance?)

I love it!

People always think writing multiple choice items is easy . . . well, it is, unless you want to write one that is pedagogically and psychometrically sound.

I think I'll have a coffee and Bailey's.
