I just too a very short little nap and feel good enough to sleep for another few hours. Sleep is gooooood.

I got my first uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep in several weeks last night. Slept solid enough the cat wasn't even trying to wake me up at 6 AM>

I hate animals that wake up their humans. I had a dog once that would wake me up by standing on my chest and looking down at me. When I opened my eyes her tail would go nuts.

I'm trying to discourage the behavior, and for the most part he seems to wait until I'm awake. It's just his definition of that and mine are different.

Also, he saved my butt the one day I screwed up my alarm.

Still and all, he doesn't grasp that different days mean different schedules.

Yeah, it's hard to teach an animal the difference between Friday and Saturday. My dog always got it backwards and kept wanting to go to church on Monday. I'd tell him, "no" and he'd get excited anyways. Silly dog!

I agree Bos, Winter has been disappointing. Only snowed here 2times so far. B is still holding out for 18 feet but I think Bri has that covered.

A good snow day really gets the re-creative juices flowing. Seriously, snow is very good for writing. It looks like a blank sheet of paper ready for the footprints my mind dreams up.

Finally getting a handle on GIMP. I've figured out layering, erasing, paths, smudging, cloning, healing, scaling, text, and ultimately, putting it all together to create a new image. Next up, perspective for creating shadow effects, etc.

Well, technically, sushi is any dish served with vinegared rice although I gave seen it defined as with any seasoned rice. Sashimi is any very fresh raw meat, usually fish, sliced thin.

Until I have to shovel my driveway. Then it looks like a pain in the @#$.

I'd rather just look at pictures of snow to be inspired rather than out my own window.

We have had little flurries all day, but not much accumulation.

It's been in the upper 50s/lower 60s here today (and yesterday and anticipated the rest of the week). Snow sucks, except for once or twice a year. Ice sucks any time. Spring is wonderful...

No, wait, I have heard they have nice weather.

I like thunderstorms myself, just not when the sky turns green and everyone has to hide underground. That kind of weather is much less fun.
