Hi,

My name is Lam. I am new to writing. So glad to find this forum. I am currently working on a YA fantasy and a paranormal romance. If my English sounds a little weird it's because I am Chinese. English is my second language and it is quite daunting for me to write in it. (Actually it is daunting for me to writing anything at all.) Oh, well, if it's not a challenge, where is the fun?

Hi Lam, welcome, welcome to the Water Cooler. I lived in China for fours from 2007-2011. I think it's wonderful that you're writing in English. Some day I hope to write in Chinese. I lived in Qingdao and Jinan in Shandong Province. Where do you live?
