Okay, got 'er fixed. It took quite a few hours and involved tweezers, scissors, and super glue...but my computer is back in business until next time it comes loose. :D :hooray:  :hooray:

Yes pleaz...and a strong drink. It took a lot of patience to fix it, and a lot of cursing and screaming. :D

Yes, I keep thinking I'm off tomorrow, but my day off was today. :( Which was spent at work counting shit for inventory. *sigh*

*wants frozen cocktails*

It usually takes a few days to fix it, but I really, really wanted it back up and running tonight.

Heh. Plant graveyards... I think I already shared my most awful plant-raising moments (the cactus with dust and cobwebs on it really wasn't my fault though).

And yay for MacGyvering computers. :)

My plans to have an amazing garden someday are going to happen... even if I have to put up a fence to keep you out of it. :D

Morning Hounds. I'M ON VACATION!!!!!

That is all.

Ooh. Need coffee. Think I'll put the Keurig aside and make a pot of drippy stuff so I can just keep on chugging while I write/edit/act cool.

*needs someone to MacGyver her coffee* I'm out of milk (and all things remotely cream-like). :e2bummed:

I am awesome with outdoor plants. But I have battled to keep indoor plants alive. I never have the right light or something and have killed many over the years.

 But, I do have two philodendrons that have managed to survive almost 15 years. Though they've only begun to thrive this last year. I have no idea why.

Good morning, Soapy!!!

You can help me whenever the day comes to put crap in the ground. I have done well with keeping my little indoor herb garden alive and growing (my basil looks ready to eat soon!!) but I have a little thing with bugs... and have issues being around bugs... especially spiders... *shudder*

Here, there, everywhere.
That's what vacuums are for, Abby. :D

I think I need someone to MacGyver something for me too, I just don't know what.

I am my own McGuyver.

Though my hubs doesn't always appreciate my fix-its.

I don't know why.

I mean, for example, just the other day, I was driving his car, going to pick him up from work and the air vent started to rattle and wouldn't stop without something held against the little dividers in the vent. Fingers against it worked really well, but I can't drive like that, especially not for the twenty odd miles to get him.

So I stuck a pen between the little dividers.

Worked just fine.

Thanks Abby!

I thought so.

Mysterious rattles in the glovebox - all kinds of possibilities, from the harmless to the "But Officer, I've no idea!"

:hi: pd. Thanks, I'm getting rather good at it, it seems as if permanent glue that can hold a ton with one drop, isn't so permanent. :e2bummed:

Well, time to get ready for work. :/
if I have to char someone tonight, I'll drag their carcass back to the hounds thread. We can make new lamps and have a midnight snack.

Thinking about cars, I should figure out what in my glove compartment is rattling. I don't even know what's in there. :S

It's perfectly normal that you can't remember all your kills... hence the reason people should keep "trophies". What? Everyone else was thinking that...

Oh, and Laurie - I found something you might be amused by. :D
