Hm. So I've been revising a WIP, and also I've been marathoning a lot of "Doctor Who" lately, and I just realized two of my POV characters are named "Donna" and "Rose." Which was entirely coincidental. Seriously.

Should I worry?

I'm assuming Donna and Rose are on Doctor Who...I wouldn't be worried, but then again, I've never watched it. :D

Yeah, they're both "companions," in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th series respectively.

What's funny about that is "Donna" is short for "Belladonna," and I was originally calling her "Bella." But then in the revision I decided, "Fuck that, no one's comparing ME to that sparkly vampire shit," and changed it. Although I rather liked the way it sounded before. . . She feels more like a Bella than a Donna. . .

I dearly love cow meat and newbies are pretty good, too.

hmm...Rhoda, I'd name her whatever name you think fits her best, as long as there's no Edward or whatever the wolfboy's name was, you should be fine.

I'm rather fond of my tail, myself. So, yeah, LEAVE THE TAIL ALONE! I see that spork behind your back.

How's it going, Ted?

*pets Night's tail*

:rolleyes

Well, you're consistent if nothing else.

Hmmm... alligator tail is quite tasty. Dragon tail should be similar, being a dragon's a reptile and so's a gator - and there'd a be a lot more of it.

So....

You're saying Night's got a big... tail?

*stands back way out off blast range*

To be honest, at first I didn't even realize it was Night's tail, I just saw a dragon's tail and figured it was part of the perks of being a hound. Some places are like that. But then all the flames started and I was like, "oh, so that tail belongs to somebody...wow."

<walks out of fireball dusting off flame and ash from shoulders>

I didn't say I was serious.

Since when does talking about food around here get one nuked?

Unless, of course, we're talking about my "Death Chili"... (my tortillas with a slice of Serrano pepper and crab & cream cheese spread went over really well BTW)

I've talked about roasting dog, but never seriously looked at Haggis.

Sheesh.

Roasted dog stinks. When I lived in Korea I smelled it a few times. In fact, it smelled so badly I didn't even want to try it.

But I have started to sprout some ghost chili seeds and if they do well, I'll have a whole mess of seriously painful peppers growing. I hope. I just have to remember to use rain water or distilled water because the village water here has something in it that killed all my other plants.

ok...you guys can't talk about my tail when I'm not here...or when I am here for that matter. No knives, sporks, oil, or sauce is allowed near my tail.

I'll roast ye all, except for Abby...*hugs*

And roasted dog sounds disgusting...besides I luv our Haggis and of course the fact that he probably doesn't taste very good is a factor.

Take the day off, it's good for you. I'm off today and I'm getting all kinds of stuff done...ok, I'm not doing anything, but it's nice.

:D good reason to decline. Maybe you can grow us a newbie tree...everytime one is ripe you can pluck 'em and throw 'em into the pit. I tell ya, I'm nothing but skin in bones waiting around for a newbieque.

I'm a little bummed tonight. I had to give the Tuscon back to the dealership tonight. No bank was willing to finance me for the amount it cost. So, conditional on getting a critical issue accomplished by Saturday, I'm driving a slightly used (30k miles) blue Pontiac GT6 (better gas mileage (31/32 compared to 25), cruise control, Bluetooth, V6 compared to V4). Very sporty. About $80 lower payments. Still bummed as it's not what I wanted, but I'll get what I want next year or the year after. Still got a warranty and everything so that's good.
