Hounding After Hours

Haha! I want a picture, Ted.

In middle school I dyed my hair rainbow colors going from black at the tips to blue/purple/red/orange/yellow and then blonde at the top. It looked awesome.

I'll bet it did! And I do have a pic. It's on my old college ID card, which I found last week. Hard to believe I was that thin. LOL.

I just watched Hunger Games. Now I'm wondering what other movie I should watch.

I've only dyed my hair once in my life and it looked just like it already had (I thought it would be lighter). I just don't like the mess, the smell, and the hassle.

Now that I have lots of gray in my hair, I think I should dye it and my beard. But I like looking like a grizzled old crazy guy that lives in a garage. I dunno why. It's not like I ever looked like Prince Charming.

Yeah, I never looked like Prince Charming either. I don't think it really matters what I look like so it'll probably be ok when the gray insists on taking over.

I always hoped to look distinguished. Instead I look rough and ornery.

Rough and ornery is good...I think.

I don't think women get to look distinguished, just old. *sigh*

Not true. Every since I was an early teen, I've always thought women with laughlines were sexy.

Well, I'm going to take my laughlines, crowsfeet, and gray hairs off to bed.

I am. You know, I'm going in on my day off today for a couple of hours and there's a good chance I might get called into a meeting. As you folks might suspect, I've begun losing what little of my mind I have left, and it has been showing at work.

They might do an "intervention" or something. I have no idea.

No good can come from pillaging old films for inspiration - I've tried talking myself out of a serious Billy The Kid Vs. Dracula novel for about a decade, and a re-write (sans the built-in stupidity) of Zeppelins Vs. Pterodactyls (an unfilmed Hammer flick, whose poster is awesome), and neither of them are doing me any good.

When I was about fourteen, I had my hair sprayed a bunch of colors - no rhyme or reason to the patterns or colors, just a mess of brightness on my head intended to look as awful as I could get it. Pretty sure there aren't any photographs though...

Aw, you need to learn how to take pictures when you do stuff like that! I'm going to have to nag your mom for pics of you as a goofy, awkward youth, aren't I?
