Listing a book with Google Books gets the book into their search engine. You can create links to your website and online sellers on the book's page. It seems to me that an Amazon/Kindle ebook, book website, and Google Books combination would be pretty powerful in terms of distribution and presence on the web.

Well crap, here's another one of my threads that has been moved.

I want to have discussions within the E-Publishing forum with other writers that are focused on ebooks alone. I do not care about anything related to paper books. At all. Ever. Vampire blood and sparkles on paper books!

Please keep my posts where I put them. M'kay?

1. Your posts are moved because you put them in inappropriate threads.

2. You don't get to tell the mods what to do.

3. Getting your book listed on Google isn't actually going to do a whole lot to sell your book.

4. Getting anything listed in Google is dead easy; just have appropriate metadata.

The trick is *not* appearing on Google books. It's not like you have to do anything to get on there other than have a book that exists.
