I might have to browse the interwebs for things to buy.

Hmm. I just found a small slip of paper hiding in the letterbox.

Apparently I have registered mail waiting for me at the post office. From the 30th of April. It's now 4th May...

Hopefully they haven't returned-to-sender yet...

I wasn't expecting anything though, so I'm not sure what it is. I can only assume that it's the CDs mum ordered for my birthday. Why they're addressed to me and not her, though, I'm not sure.

And I got ready to walk to the post office, and it started to rain. *sigh* I don't feel like walking in the rain. But I'm curious about what's been sent to me!

And now it's stopped raining. The sun is shining, but there're still a lot of grey clouds...

I think I'll put on some long pants and a jacket, take my umbrella, and risk it. Curiosity is killing me!

Besides, I don't want them to return-to-sender!

Ah, nothing interesting after all.

Just an official Certificate Of Completion for the retail course I did last year. Never mind that I finished it in September.

I should probably start framing these things... There're hooks already up in my bedroom from the last owner, and nothing on them.

So no CDs for me today.

So that makes 2 Retail certificates, and 1 Uni certificate that I could hang up.

The Uni one is already in a frame, actually... Got that when I completed all 4 subjects for the entry course.

It's not exactly a credential, but more a sentimental thing.

I just realised - I've had a very musical birthday.

Grandparents gave me enough money to pay for PC speakers. Dad gave me enough money to pay for a cheap acoustic guitar and learning book/DVD. Mum's ordered a couple CDs for me that I can't get in stores here.

So aside from Absolute Visions (also from mum) all my birthday stuff has been sound-related.

I wonder what I'll do when sis and her boyfriend give me my birthday money...

I know! I'll buy myself a recording contract, complete with groupies.

Oh, and congrats Syn!

And the hooks aren't the fetish kind. Just ordinary hooks you nail into the wall to hold up pictures and stuff.

Happy No Pants Day!

I got up this morning and guess what. My pants are gone. Sometime during the night the Pants Fairy came and took my pants . . . and some rare coins, a laptop, and a television set. I'm not sure what that's all about; I'll worry about it later.

NO PANTS!

The Pants Fairy likes to remove all objects of value, so that you're not distracted from the glorious feeling of having no pants!
